On April 30th, Daniela and I documented the Ga-La-Licious fundraiser for the Nightwood Theatre. The gala was held at the Courthouse Event Space on Adelaide. There was a wide variety of entertainment from clowns, to taro card readers and buskers. Erica Ehm was the emcee of the evening and the lovely Janna Polzin from the Sounds of Music put on two beautiful performances. Everyone had a fun evening and a lot of money was raised for a very important arts organization. The Courthouse is a great venue. They have two levels and a big stage. I loved this light with the disco ball hanging down.
The food was delicious.
They had a lot of really fun stuff for the silent auction. Doesn’t this basket make you want to crawl into a nice warm tub?

Erica Ehm was a great emcee. I remember watching her on Much Music when I was little. She was one of my first idols. 
She’s a very funny lady and got the crowd pumped up for the live auction.

Carla is a small business consultant, entrepreneur, public speaker, and author! She owns Make It Fly Consulting, which is a small business consulting company based out of Toronto. She is full of energy and is constantly on the move. Her book is being released in June and we were thrilled when she asked us to shoot her author portrait for the back cover!
